Outdoor Norway offers you an amazing sea kayaking guided tour in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Park – Nærøyfjord. The name Nærøyfjord originated from the old norse(old norwegian) god ‘Njord’ which means the God of sailors and the sea.

The Nærøyfjord is considered the wildest and the most beautiful arm of the Sognefjord that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is 17 km long and the narrowest point is 250 m wide.  Its depth varies between 10 and 500 metres and the surrounding mountains are more than 1400 metres high.

Did you know that Nærøyfjord is one of the arms of the Sognefjord or Sognefjorden, which is the largest and best known fjord in Norway. Also, iit is considered the second longest fjord in the world.

Outdoor Norway’s sea kayaking tour is designed to show guests the UNESCO World Heritage Park as much as possible. We will explore the historic areas of the Nærøyfjord, which for centuries, have been playing an important role linking western and central Norway together.

This guided tour will bring you the unique breathtaking setting with lush, green mountains, majestic waterfalls and thriving farms all around the mountainsides.

This trip includes a professional guide that will be with you throughout the tour. We will ensure that you’ll have an unforgettable experience and at the same time make the whole tour fun, exciting and safe.
